Anyway, what I wanted to say is that I am so proud of the work you and Ken are doing, Shug, and I know that you are going to beat this liver thing and come out on the other side laughing all the way to the bank!

Oh, and by the way, I still live for Fridays! If anyone doesn’t know what that means, it means I get a great massage from Ken and then I get a fantastic vegan meal of some sort that comes from the mind of this wonderful chef I call my sister, Jackie!

My time with Red Cross is winding down now, and I am keeping my fingers crossed for future federal employment (or any decent job opportunities – cannot let my college degree(s) go to waste). One of the most memorable things resulting from this VISTA position with the Red Cross has been working with you, Karen, Destiny, and all of the wonderful volunteers. It has been wonderful working with you. I have learned a lot along the way, especially about nutrition.

Your food is absolutely wonderful! I could swear up and down about that for hours on end. I like food. Always have and always will. Hahaha. I have started eating healthier, and you contributed to that. After eating unhealthy, processed,  fried food for 4 years while at Hanover, it was time for a change. I have gained a lot from your knowledge about proper nutrition and its effects on physical, mental, and spiritual functioning.  Now, I am not ready to start a vegan diet (I’m a die hard omnivore), but I do understand the importance of maintaining a healthy, balanced diet. People unwittingly poison themselves by what they eat. We do not even think about it most of the time. CRAZY.

Well – back to the point. I love your food. I have loved working with you. It has been awesome getting to know you this past year. I will miss you and the rest of the crew when I have moved on to ‘bigger and better things’. I had better save some things for the official good-bye, so I will quit for now. Ken – I haven’t forgetten about you. You and Jackie are wonderful people, and it was a blessing for me to get to meet you both. Thanks for the knowledge and friendship!

P.S.  To all the people that read my aunt’s blog i just want to tell you that even though i don’t really eat all the stuff that she makes, mainly because i am a picky eater, her food is probably the best smelling stuff in the world, it just runs in the family.  Its in our blood, i mean what can we say.  Our whole family should have a cooking show.  We should call it Watson’s Family Table or something like that! well that was a long P.S.  well Adios!

I think your food blog is awesome! As a kid I can remember the great meals you would prepare for your family. They were always so creative and great tasting! I always wondered how you did it and now that I am cooking for my family I really wonder HOW YOU DID IT!

I guess it is your love of food and cooking that enables you to see how foods fit together and great ways to prepare them. I plan on being very active with your blog. I want to learn more about different ways of cooking healthy foods for my family. Don’t forget to post that soup recipe! It was soooo delicious!! I love you so much and I am excited for you and hope you know you deserve everything you desire!
