Well, I must tell you that the first week went better than I had thought it would. I probably was looking to sabotage myself to have a reason to quit, but I did better than I could have. I think I have finally made that mind flip with regards to the food I eat.
I also am going to the gym every day, except the 2 days we are in Indianapolis every two weeks. I find that I am looking forward to working out in the morning. I see the changes that are taking place in my body and I am liking it very much!
So, the reason for my post. We have specific weigh in days for this 6-week challenge. The first day I weighed in, Tuesday, April 1, I weighed in at 230 pounds. Now for the news, yesterday, Tuesday, April 8th, my niece, Whitney’s 21st birthday, was another weigh in. Now I wasn’t expecting too much because I always lose way more inches than I do pounds. I weighed in on the same scales as last week, and I weighed just under 215! Yes, that is right, I lost just a hair over 15 pounds in one week! Amazing! Lovely! I’m excited! This morning when I worked out, I could feel myself working out with more intensity, and I know it is simply because I am so inspired by what I accomplished last week. I will keep a level head though, and if it doesn’t happen again, so what? I am looking good and I am on track! Besides, my goal was 2 pounds a week, I am over 7 weeks ahead!
I am the Biggest Loser this week!!!!
I love that show!
