“Salisbury” Millet Patty Dinner

Hi Jackie,

On the spur of the moment tonight, I decided to make your recipe for salisbury millet patty dinner, since it sounded so good. I did make some minor changes, but the meal was absolutely delicious!

First off, I was out of my brown rice flour which I would have normally substituted for the flour in the recipe, since I must avoid gluten grains– so I had to substitute two and one half tablespoons of corn starch for the flour just to hold the mixture together. It worked o.k. Then I decided I would rather have more onion and celery than the carrots and so I changed that. Also, I was out of rosemary for seasoning so I used slightly less marjorum along with the thyme. YUM!

The rest of the properties of the meal were essentially as written and I found them to be perfect accompaniments to the millet patty.  I will definitely be making this meal a regular part of my diet.  Thanks, Jackie.   :o )   Bee
