I was surfing through some of my favorite blogs today, and while I was on the Bean Vegan, I discovered a brand new blog that I think is going to be pretty tasty! It is My Vegan Cookbook. I am going to enjoy this blog. He is going to be putting up a website also with lots of recipes that sound delicious.
I tried the Ultimate Brownie Cookies tonight for after dinner and they were unbelievably delicious. Josh, the author, thinks I created a mutant,
however, I didn’t gather my ingredients first and I found that I didn’t have canola oil, and had to use light olive oil instead. (Do what I say, not what I do.) I thought they were delicious, so you can imagine what they will be when I try the recipe the way he wrote it.
Here they are:
Josh says that his goal with My Vegan Cookbook dot com is to have a collection of recipes that are isolated soy free, whole foods heavy, 100% vegan, free of hydrogenated oils and most importantly, taste amazing. Sounds like he has really been doing some testing of recipes. This is the kind of site we all need. I commend you, Josh.
So, I encourage you to go there and check him out. I’m going to make the Vegan “Cheese” Ball next, and yes, Josh, I’ll follow the recipe to a “T”!
Who says good for you food can’t be delicious and totally satisfying?
Happy, Healthy Eating
